Training Course on the
European Union for Students
History, values, and institutions
Euro4VET partners implemented the Training Course for Students on the European Union.
From February to May 2025, the Training Course for Students on EU topics, designed by Finnish partner KPEDU, was implemented by the 5 VET schools in the consortium.
During the course, which was delivered in person or online over that period, students attended five modules: European Values, such as Equality and Dignity; The Construction of the EU; EU Institutions; European Citizenship and the Future of the EU.
The course is based on active methodologies and multimedia tools, with the main outcomes being a deeper understanding of how the EU affects everyday life, but also the development of critical thinking about what they expect from the EU, and how they can play an active role in that end, as European citizens.
Assessment tests were administered before the course, and a final test was given as well, so that partner schools could compare the evolution of their students.
