Euro4VET partners meet virtually

On 23 September, the partners of the Euro4VET project, supported by the Erasmus+ programme under the Jean Monnet European Schools Network, met virtually for their regular bi-monthly meeting.

With the usual excellent working atmosphere that characterises the consortium, representatives from each of the five VET schools (Spain, Finland, North Macedonia, Portugal and Turkey), the School of Education and Social Sciences (ESECS) from the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, and the pan-european EfVET-European Forum for Technical and Vocational Education and Training,  discussed, among other topics, the upcoming EU Skills Virtual Competition, one of the activities of this project, organised by ESECS.

It will involve 40 students from each of the educational institutions, grouped into 10 teams, over a period of five weeks. The competition is divided into two parts: the first, during the first four weeks, will see the national teams competing internally; in the second, the two best teams from each school will compete with their counterparts from the other four countries to determine which team will go to Brussels on a study visit next February, organised by EfVET, where they will be able to visit some of the main sites of the European Commission and the European Parliament.
