The Euro4VET partners met virtually on the morning of February 5, 2026

In addition to the usual day-to-day project management matters, the main topic of the meeting was the preparation for the upcoming visit to Brussels, from February 16th to 18th, namely to several European Union bodies: the European Council, the European Parliament, EACEA - the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (which coordinates the Erasmus+ program and the Jean Monnet Networks typology for VET, where the project is included) and the Directorate-General for Employment. A visit will also be made to the "House of European History", a history museum focused on the recent history of the European continent and the process of European integration. This is an initiative of the European Parliament, inaugurated in 2017.

This visit is the culmination of the EU Skills Virtual Competition, developed during the last quarter of 2025, which, after determining two winning teams from among the ten from each country, led them to compete against each other in a new, international phase, until one from each nation was achieved. It will be its members and the teachers who supported them who will go to Brussels.

Thus, the students and teachers from the six schools that will be in the Belgian capital will have the opportunity to present the results already achieved by the project and, above all, interact with officials from those bodies, always with the idea of learning and experiencing the daily impact that the EU has on our lives.
