Kits Days of Europe

The goal of this activity is to get the students acquainted with the 9th of May, the day when the European Union is celebrated. During the EU training course, the students will familiarise themselves with the purposes of the formation of the European Union. Hence, they will deliver their own opinions about the positive sides of being or becoming a European citizen. For this purpose, the students should be encompassed in a collective activity.
For the 9th of May 2025 the students from the partner organization SABA prepared the map of Europe with specifications of the EU member states, as well as the partner countries. The partner countries are highlighted in the colors of their flags, while the EU member states are underlined in light blue color.
Story
Through this activity, the students will have to think of the positive sides of being a European. They will think of the benefits that are provided by the EU and how they reflect on their life. They will make a comparison, of how would they feel if they weren’t part of the EU. Also, the Turkish and the Macedonian partners will present the aspects of their willingness to become European. They will make a comparison of their everyday life with the benefits which they will gain if they are EU citizens.
